Identified in 1947 in the “Baume Cave” in Quinson, France, this type of triangular section point shows only one altered side. Dating from Lower Paleolithic, it’s known in contemporary arrangements all the way to Asia. As for many objects referred to as “points”, nothing proves that they were used as projectiles.
