Texte (from field presentation):
The Paleolithic, the longest period in human history, is marked by a succession of several human species sometimes contemporary to one another, as well as a succession of technical and cultural events, like manufacturing tools, mastering the use of fire, funeral practises and artistic expression. The tools produced by carving stones originally defined the different cultures of the Paleolithic era.
All along your visit, the time scale which is in white characters on the grey wall, will help you understand the time line of prehistory.
