Here you are in the wing devoted to the Neolithic Era, a veritable turning point in prehistoric ways of life. Prior to the Neolithic, man lived a nomadic, hunter-gatherer way of life. In the Neolithic Era, man gradually started farming, started raising animals and settled into early villages. These new activities were accompanied by the development of new tools and new techniques such as making fired clay vessels.
The diorama in front of you recreates a scene of village life in the plains of Quinson. With your tour companion, you can explore this period through a selection of objects on display in this room. Enjoy your exploration!
